fosterING critical hope for the future

THROUGH FEMINIST LEADERSHIP & ENGAGED COMMUNITIES

A person standing on the edge of a rocky ledge at the Grand Canyon, wearing a black t-shirt and a maroon cap, with a scenic view of the canyon in the background.

I’m Heather Shea—a higher education leader, educator, and facilitator helping organizations and communities move from women’s leadership to intersectional feminist leadership rooted in shared power, belonging, and sustainable change.

I believe in the power of fostering critical hope. This is not naive hope or toxic positivity — this is about awareness, acknowledgement, and collective action toward sustainable social justice and change for the common good.

I’ve dedicated my career to working on college and university campuses, but I’m eager to share my work with additional audiences.
